Vision Projects

Vision Projects is a small home-based business which we set up with the primary aim of providing a proofreading service for anyone – individual or business – who recognised the need to have their written text match the quality of their ‘product’ whether it was an advertisement, brochure, thesis etc. computer-based products which check spelling and grammar can
find some of the errors but fail to be able to discriminate enough to find them all. That’s our job.

Now we have diversified to include a quite different service – the scanning of 35mm slides and negatives. Part of the motivation for this was the realisation of how important our photographs are to us all. Ask anyone what they would save from their house if it were burning and most will reply that, after human lives, the next most important things to save are the photographs. Having your photographs digitised (scanned) gives you not only your original slides but also as many copies as you would like. these can then be stored for safety in different locations. There is a double bonus with having your slides stored on CD or DVD. You can view them quickly and easily without the fuss of setting up the projector and screen - or clearing a wall of pictures to create a screen!
